InDrive | It’s better than Uber!
Description
InDrive is a peer-to-peer ride sharing mobile application that operates similar to Uber.
Yet instead of the mobile application setting the prices, the rider offers what they think a fair price for the ride should be. The drivers can all see the offered price and are free to accept. From the available drivers who have accepted, the ride can then pick the driver and vehicle that they like.
In Latin America but in particular Colombia, InDrive is leaps and bounds ahead of Uber. There is no surge pricing or overcharging on InDrive. And because the driver knows the fare and route in advance, they wont repeatedly accept and cancel rides to try and trigger surge pricing – because there is no surge pricing to trigger!
