Before I get into the top 10 nightlife activities in Bogotá, I feel I should highlight the top 3 activities that I believe everyone spending at least one night in Bogotá should try. These top 3 activities will be the ones that you will be telling all your friends about when you get home. And they’re the nightlife activities that will give you stunning Instagram worthy photo opportunities.
The first is to experience a sunset from Monserrate. This is hands down the best thing you can do at sunset in Bogotá. The view during the day from Monserrate is stunning. But it’s only when the sun begins to set and the city lights up that you really get to see just how big Bogotá really is.
Sitting at number two on my personal list of things to do in Bogotá at night is a visit to the restaurants and clubs in Chapinero. Zona Rosa (also called Zona T) has some amazing restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Trust me when I say that the local Bogotános really know how to party.
In third spot is Andrés Carne de Res in Chía. There’s a few in Andrés Carne de Res in Bogotá, but Chía is the original. Imagine a salsa club, barbecue restaurant and Cirque du Soleil all rolled up into one. Got the image in your mind? Yeah, that’s what Andrés Carne de Res in Chía is like. It’s one place not to miss while you’re in Bogotá.
