Buenos Aires Argentina

I’ve been frequently visiting Buenos Aires since I first arrived in this magical city, as a backpacker, way back in 2007. Most, if not all of my stays in Buenos Aires, have been for 3 months or longer.

During the last half of 2021, all of 2022 and for 6 months in 2023 through to January 2024, I was resident in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve lived in the very heart of BA for roughly 4 years in total, since my first visit. And I love BA.

Yet, as a place to actually buy real estate and live, I generally recommend my actual home, Lima Peru or Bogotá Colombia. Where the economies are far more stable and life is, well, easier. But, as a tourist destination, or digital nomad spot, you can’t go wrong with Buenos Aires!
