The TikTok mobile application does not work in Cuba. It does not matter if you do or do not have a VPN for the TikTok mobile application as it will not work in Cuba. Yet the website browser version of TikTok will work with a VPN.
How To Use TikTok In Cuba?
Before travelling to Cuba you should turn off all two-factor authentication (2fa). As the phone number you use to receive a login code for TikTok is unlikely to work in Cuba.
Ensure you have a VPN preloaded onto your device before arriving in Cuba. You can load a VPN onto your device after arriving in Cuba. But it is a much longer and more complicated process.
Turn your VPN on and set it to your home country. Then login to the Tiktok website via your browser (Apple Safari or Google Chrome) on your device (mobile phone or laptop).
Upload and view TikTok content via your devices website browser. The TikTok mobile application will not work in Cuba.

Why Do I Need A VPN For TikTok In Cuba?
Access to TikTok is blocked in Cuba. TikTok is a Chinese social media application but it is still blocked in Cuba. Using a VPN in Cuba allows you to get around geo-blocking and login to TikTok from a country of your choice.
Without a VPN in Cuba many of your favourite social media applications will not function. A few will still function but with limited capacity.
You will find that you are unable to access most websites, services and social media applications associated with the United States without a VPN when in Cuba.
Using NordVPN (my primary VPN for Cuba) I’ve been able to view and upload content to TikTok. Thereby bypassing the restricted access placed on TikTok users in Cuba by the United States.
I also use NordVPN to access the Apple Appstore and upload videos to YouTube when I am in Cuba.
