You can use Netflix in Cuba with a VPN. Here’s how you can get to Netflix and chill in Cuba.

First, you will need a VPN to access Netflix in Cuba.

If your account has two-factor authentication (2fa), you should switch it off before travelling to Cuba. As the phone number to which Netflix would send a login code will likely not work in Cuba.

If Netflix texts you a login code (2fa), it’s very likely you will not be able to access that login code and will be locked out of your account for the duration of your stay in Cuba. Turn off two-factor authentication (2fa) before travelling to Cuba to avoid being locked out.

Ensure you use a VPN when accessing the Netflix App or when accessing the Netflix website. We used NordVPN in Cuba and would recommend it over the others. It works on wifi and the mobile network in Cuba.

Cuban television is horrible so we used Netflix daily from Cuba without issue. And if you’re staying for long on the island, we’d recommend ensuring you have something like Netflix so you can avoid Cuban TV.
